What is Marketing FOMO? And How to Cure It!

The most common question I received when launching The Fix "news"letter is why. Why are you (me) providing free tips and best practices, and how can I (that's you) put them into practice?

The answer is simple: FOMO.

No, not fear of missing out.

When I'm talking about "FOMO," I'm actually describing the most common mistake I see marketers and business owners make when it comes to marketing their products and services. And I want to help people avoid these costly errors. 

And actually simplify their lives.

What is FOMO?

This most common mistake is driven by modern-day FOMO: The Fear of Marketing Omission.

This FOMO is driven by two things:

  1. Fear that if I (me or my product/service) am not on every marketing platform available, I'll be missing out on opportunities to market and sell.

  2. Lack of understanding as to where to focus marketing and business development efforts, so we do a little bit of everything to "diversify the risk" that comes with Fear of Marketing Omission.

Stop harboring those limiting beliefs immediately.

You're only making things harder on yourself. And to diminishing effect.
